Melissa Maiorino for SCHOOL BOARD

Since announcing my candidacy, I have remained committed to being NONPARTISAN, believing that collaboration—not division—is essential to a successful school board. In keeping with this commitment, I have not been endorsed by, nor have I received funds from, any political party, individual, or special interest group. My campaign is entirely self-funded, and my only obligation is to the community stakeholders of D158.

I sincerely appreciate the support and recommendation of the Huntley Area Dems and the McHenry County National Organization for Women—your confidence in me means a great deal.

A special thank you to the grassroots community group Candidates for All Kids for their dedication and hard work in organizing the Huntley Chamber Expo opportunity on March 15th. This diverse group of community members—including young families, empty nesters, and business owners—came together, setting aside personal politics to support candidates they believe are truly committed to serving ALL students.

While Andy Fekete, Rich Bobby, Sean Cratty, Paul Troy, and I have been recommended by Candidates for All Kids, we each bring unique perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the school board.

Last but not least, I am honored and proud to have received the endorsement of the HEA (Huntley Education Association). I am thankful for the trust, support and confidence in me. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and support our students and staff.

I would be honored to earn your vote on April 1st (or during early voting), and I look forward to working collaboratively with the elected board to serve our students, families, and staff.
